Maruti Suzuki India has reduced the price of its model
Baleno RS by 1 lakh rupees. Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS, which was earlier priced at Rs 8.89 lakh (ex-showroom), will now be available for Rs 7.89
lakh (ex-showroom).
The car has a very good appeal and has been able to draw attention of Indian car buyers. Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS is powered by a 3-cylinder 1.0
-litre Booster-jet DITC petrol engine that delivers 102 hp and 150 Nm of torque. The car has 5-speed manual transmission. Maruti claims a fuel
efficiency of 21.1 kmpl for Baleno RS.
The RS variant of Maruti Suzuki Baleno has top end features like LED rear combination lamps, LED projector headlamps with Day running lights
(DRLs), UV cut glass and automatic folding alloy wheels, and 16-inch precision cut alloy wheels. The car comes with all new smartplay studio
touchscreen infotainment system, tilt and telescopic steering, automatic air conditioning, and height adjustable driver seats. As far as safety
features are concerned, the car well equipped with safety features like dual airbags, front and rear disc brakes, ABS with EBD and high speed
warning.
The reduction in Baleno RS price comes just after
Maruti has reduced the prices of its models by Rs 5,000.
This is 7th consecutive month where Maruti Suzuki India had witnessed a sales decline. The number of cars sold by Maruti fell 33% in August 2019.
