Audi was introduced to India in 2007 as Audi India Pvt Ltd which is a division of the German automobile manufacturer Audi and Volkswagen Group India. Audi has its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It currently has 45 dealerships in 11 states and 2 union territories of India. Audi introduced 16 models of cars in India which are the Audi A3, A4, A6, Q3, Q5, Q7, A3 Cabriolet, A8, RS6, A7, TT, R8, Q2 and A5.
