The locally produced engineered car DC Avanti with mid mounted 2.0 L Turbo-Charged Engine which produces 248 Hp and does 0-100 in just 6 seconds with a top speed of 200KMPH. Because of the indian roads, this sports car has a good amount of ground clearance. The surfacing of the bonnet is just right and the black line in the centre gives more sportier look to the vehicle. The long tail lamp with a big overhang and a drooping rear looks astonishing where some body panels are constructed from high tech carbon fibre to minimise the Kerb Weight of the vehicle. On the inside, the seats are wide enough with good legroom whereas the headroom is quite tight. The 3 spoke steering wheel feels just the right size and very much light in weight. The visibility at the back is poor. The Ex-showroom price tag starts at 35.93 Lakhs.
