MG Motor UK Limited (MG Motor) is a British automotive company headquartered in Birmingham, England, which was founded in 2006. MG Motor is the largest importer of Chinese made cars into the United Kingdom. MG Motor was voted third place for the 'Best Manufacturer' category in the Auto Express 2014.
MG entered India in May 2019, the company unveiled India's first Internet car, MG Hector SUV. MG Motor India, a fully owned arm of China's SAIC Motor, took over the manufacturing facility from General Motors at Halol in India in 2017. MG Motors now has dealers across New Zealand, including Auckland, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Christchurch and the Hawkes Bay.
