Maruti Suzuki has launched the S-Presso in India with prices starting at Rs 3.69 lakh going up till Rs 4.91 lakh (ex-showroom India). You can only have it with a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with an AMT option. Its available in a total of four variants- Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+. Safety features such as a driver-side airbag, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, speed alert, and front seatbelt reminder are offered as standard across all variants. While the top-spec variant comes with a front passenger airbag and front seatbelt pretensioners, they are available as an option on the others. The S-Presso gets a bunch of features which includes a digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front power windows, and internally adjustable ORVMs. S-Presso is competing against Renault Kwid, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki Alto.
