Land Rover Discovery facelift model is set to launch in India. The SUV gets updated interior and exterior styling with more equipment on offer.

All the three engines are all wheel drives and are supposed to come with a 48V mild hybrid system to improve the fuel efficiency.
Variants and Features on offer
The Discovery facelift in India will be available in two trim levels - Discovery and Discovery R-Dynamic - and three variants - S, SE and HSE - for buyers to choose from.
If we look at features on offer the top-spec R-Dynamic HSE model will come equipments like the new Pivi Pro infotainment system with OTA updates and connected car tech, heated and cooled front seats with memory function, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a Meridien sound system, 360-degree parking camera, Matrix LED headlamps, auto headlamps and wipers, electrically foldable second- and third-row seats etc.
There are a lot of optional accessories to choose from, like a PM2.5 cabin air filtration system, a panoramic sunroof with sliding and rear fixed, heads-up display and four-zone climate control. As before, the Discovery continues to offer adaptive dampers, standard air suspension and Terrain Response 2 traction modes.
Expected Price and rivals
With the updates, the face lifted Discovery is likely to cost at a premium over the pre-face lifted model, which is priced from Rs 75.59 lakh (ex-showroom in India). The 2021 SUV will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and the upcoming face lifted Audi Q7.
